Jenny Randerson is Assembly Member for Cardiff Central and the Welsh Liberal Democrat Shadow Minister for Education, The Economy and Transport. She was formerly leader of the opposition on Cardiff Council until her election to the Assembly in 1999.
During the partnership Government of 2000 – 2003, Jenny became Minister for Culture, Sport & the Welsh Language during which time, she introduced Iaith Pawb, the first ever Welsh language strategy.
Jenny chaired the Assembly’s Standing Orders Committee which set up the processes for how the Assembly would work with its new law making powers and she currently sits on the Enterprise & Learning Committee.
Brian Morgan joined the Cardiff School of Management in 2007 as Professor of Entrepreneurship and Director of the Creative Leadership and Enterprise Centre. Previously, he was Director of the Leadership, Enterprise and Economic Development Unit at Cardiff University. His research focus is on the business development needs of small business and entrepreneurs. Prior to his role, he was Chief Economist at the Welsh Development Agency and Senior Policy Adviser in Whitehall. He worked extensively in Eastern Europe and Southern Africa for the OECD and EU. Professor Morgan is Director of Welsh Whiskey Company Limited and Spadel UK Ltd.
David Russ is the Managing Director of the Centre for Business and South Wales Chamber of Commerce – David has been Managing Director since 1997 and has a passion and drive for Entrepreneurship and worked on the Entrepreneurship Action Plan within his previous role at the Welsh Development Agency. Heavily involved within the business scene and has a clear vision on how Wales can develop High Business Growth, Entrepreneurs and International relationships.
